About the speaker: Linda Wilinski is a published conservation photographer and Florida Master Naturalist who captures life above and below the surface of Florida’s freshwater springs. Her work reflects a deep love for the natural world and inspires meaningful connections through her photography and lectures. She believes empathy is one of the most powerful tools for change. She specializes in photographing North American river otters and collaborates with conservation groups to enhance their protection. She was recently honored with an “Otter Oscar” from the International Otter Survival Fund for her ethical photography. Committed to prioritizing animal well-being, her work has been featured by organizations including the Florida Wildlife Federation, Conservation Florida, and the National Forest Association. “To truly connect with Florida’s wild creatures, we must strive to see the world from their perspective and act accordingly.”
